「中國基督教播道會同福堂與樂苗基金邀得力克 (Nick Vujicic) 到港。力克雖然生來沒有四肢，但他的生命卻絕非一齣悲劇，反而是一首生命的讚歌。
力 克在澳洲出生，天生沒有雙手雙腳，但是他並沒有被生命的不幸擊倒，反而積極地面對人生，不但擁有財務規劃及會計兩個大學學位，並在世界各地作鼓動人心的工 作，透過演講及錄像，影響了世界各地數以百萬計的人。他亦曾出訪九個不同國家，更成為兩家機構的總監，並有自己的房地產投資業務。在繁忙的日程中他也抽空 撰寫了《沒手沒腳》(No ArmsNo Legs) 一書，將於2009年在美國出版。更多有關 Nick 的資料可瀏覽www.lifewithoutlimbs.org網站。
力克應邀在 11 月 23 日於東涌亞洲國際博覽館兩場佈道會中分享他的見證。兩場佈道會分別於下午二時卅分及晚上七時卅分舉行，每場可容納約15,000位觀眾。免費門券將循先到先得的方式索取。
力克說最惡劣的殘障不是「沒有肢體的人生」，而是「沒有盼望的人生」。他的見證將可為港人帶來盼望、鼓勵及積極人生目標。我們同時相信他的說話可以為受苦及正待援手的人帶來正面的影響及安慰。
香港雖然是一個繁榮的大都會，但在繁華背後卻出現：

難以想像的壓力指數
極度貧富懸殊 (一百三十萬人士生活在貧窮線下)
通貨膨脹問題嚴重，糧食價格加幅超越低收入家庭的負擔能力
家庭問題
青少年問題
我們相信只有在基督裡才有盼望扭轉這處境，就讓我們一同藉著力克的生命見證，高舉神的奇妙恩典，並為我們的社會帶來正面積極的影響。
